Mechanical roadside help without pretending to be a towing company
Our roadside service focuses on getting a disabled vehicle started, diagnosing common no-start or charging problems, and completing eligible mechanical repairs or part replacement where the vehicle is safely located. We can work on standard 12-volt vehicles and compatible 24-volt starting systems, including selected heavy-duty and commercial vehicles and RVs.
Heavy-duty jump start for a compatible semi-truck, bus, or large commercial vehicle: $225 base service within the normal service area. The payment covers technician dispatch and the jump-start service; it does not guarantee the vehicle will start when another electrical or mechanical fault is present. Additional diagnosis or repair is separate. After-hours, difficult-access, or extended-travel requests may be quoted higher before dispatch. Hye Tech does not provide towing or tire assistance.
24-volt jump-start capability for larger vehicles
Hye Tech can provide 24V jump-start assistance for compatible vehicles equipped with 24-volt starting systems. Depending on the vehicle and battery configuration, this can include selected heavy-duty trucks, semi-trucks, box trucks, buses, commercial vehicles, RVs, and motorhomes. We also provide 12V jump starts for cars, SUVs, pickups, and vans. A jump start cannot fix a failed starter, alternator, damaged battery, wiring fault, or other mechanical problem, so additional diagnosis may be needed if the vehicle does not start normally.
A safe location is part of the repair decision
A mobile-repairable problem can still require towing when the vehicle is in an active traffic lane, a narrow high-speed shoulder, an unstable surface, or another unsafe location. Roadway safety comes before diagnosis. Once the vehicle is safely positioned, we can determine whether jump-start, no-start diagnosis, or an eligible roadside repair makes sense.

How the mobile service works
Text or call with the vehicle year, make, model, exact location, whether the system is 12V or 24V if known, what happens when you try to start it, and whether the vehicle is a car, RV, commercial vehicle, or heavy-duty vehicle.
We confirm whether the location is safe and legal for mobile work and whether the vehicle, battery configuration, job scope, and access fit Hye Tech roadside service. For an eligible heavy-duty jump start, the base service is $225; any higher after-hours, difficult-access, or extended-travel price is disclosed before dispatch.
We perform the jump start, diagnosis, or eligible roadside repair. If the problem requires towing, tire service, shop equipment, unsafe roadside work, or a repair outside mobile scope, we will tell you rather than promise a repair that should not be attempted there.
When mobile service may not be appropriate
Hye Tech does not provide towing, winching, vehicle recovery, or tire assistance. We do not change, patch, mount, inflate, or otherwise service tires roadside. We also will not work in an active traffic lane, on an unsafe high-speed shoulder, or in another location where the technician cannot work safely and legally. If the vehicle is in a dangerous location, it must first be moved to a safe service location by an appropriate towing, recovery, or roadway service provider.
Before the appointment
Send a photo of the vehicle and battery area when possible, especially for RVs, buses, trucks, semi-trucks, or 24V systems. For commercial or fleet vehicles, confirm that you have authority to approve roadside service and charges. Keep the vehicle in the safest legal location available and do not stand in traffic while waiting for service.
Heavy-duty jump-start pricing & payment
$225 base service for a confirmed compatible semi-truck, bus, or large commercial vehicle within the normal service area. The payment covers technician dispatch and the heavy-duty jump-start service. It is not a guarantee that the vehicle will start if a failed battery, starter, alternator, wiring fault, or another mechanical/electrical problem is present. Additional diagnosis, repairs, parts, after-hours surcharges, difficult-access charges, or extended travel are separate and require customer approval.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a heavy-duty semi-truck or bus jump start?
The base heavy-duty jump-start service is $225 within the normal service area for a compatible semi-truck, bus, or large commercial vehicle. After-hours, difficult-access, or extended-travel requests may be quoted higher before dispatch. The fee covers dispatch and jump-start service, not a guarantee that a vehicle with another fault will start.
Can Hye Tech jump-start a 24-volt vehicle?
Yes. Hye Tech can provide jump-start assistance for compatible vehicles equipped with 24-volt starting systems when the battery configuration is confirmed and there is safe access.
Can you jump-start a semi-truck, box truck, bus, or other large vehicle?
Selected large and heavy-duty vehicles can be serviced when their starting system is compatible with our equipment, the battery configuration is accessible, and the location is safe. Send the vehicle details and photos so we can confirm before dispatch.
Can you jump-start an RV or motorhome?
Yes. We can assist eligible RVs and motorhomes with 12V or compatible 24V chassis starting systems when there is safe access to the batteries or approved jump points.
Can Amazon, FedEx, or UPS delivery vehicles use Hye Tech roadside service?
Eligible delivery and fleet vehicles can be serviced when the driver, owner, contractor, or fleet has the required authority to approve the work. Hye Tech is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon, FedEx, or UPS.
Do you provide towing?
No. Hye Tech does not provide towing, winching, or vehicle recovery. Our roadside service is for jump starts, diagnosis, and eligible mobile mechanical repairs.
Do you provide flat-tire or tire roadside assistance?
No. Hye Tech does not provide tire changes, tire repair, tire inflation, tire mounting, or other roadside tire assistance.
Can you replace parts on the road?
Yes, some parts can be replaced at the vehicle location when the failure is confirmed, the correct part is available, and the work can be completed safely. Examples may include batteries, starters, alternators, accessible belts, tensioners, hoses, fuses, relays, coils, spark plugs, and selected sensors.
Can you work on a freeway shoulder?
Only when the location is legal and genuinely safe for the technician and vehicle. Hye Tech will not perform repairs in active traffic lanes or on an unsafe high-speed shoulder. A dangerous vehicle location must be moved before mechanical service can begin.
