Identify scheduled work or a current fault
Share the mileage, last known spark-plug replacement and whether the engine shakes at idle, loses power under load or has trouble starting cold. Include any diagnostic code and whether the check-engine light flashes. A flashing warning with a strong misfire is a reason to stop driving when safe because unburned fuel can damage the catalytic converter.
A code for one cylinder does not prove the plug is defective. Ignition coils, injectors, air leaks, fuel delivery or compression may need testing. Service invoices help confirm whether maintenance is due; if the request follows a new warning, diagnosis should be planned instead of assuming a tune-up will solve it.
Confirm engine-specific fit and price
Spark-plug type, interval and labor access depend on engine and trim. Some models require removal of intake components or use plugs that need a particular procedure. Send the VIN or year, make, model, engine and any maintenance records so fitment and access can be checked before the visit.
The existing $349 starting price applies to select four-cylinder vehicles with standard-access spark plugs and standard engine and cabin filters. It is not a universal four-cylinder price. We confirm vehicle eligibility and scope before scheduling; additional diagnosis or difficult access is explained separately before work proceeds.
Arrange a suitable Calabasas work area
Tell us whether the vehicle is in a private driveway, gated community, apartment garage or business lot and whether the property allows service work. A level area with hood clearance is needed. If the location is near Parkway Calabasas or Calabasas Road, give the exact parking entrance and gate instructions rather than only a nearby intersection.
Let the engine cool before plug work and do not run it in an enclosed garage to demonstrate a symptom. If a warning appeared, send a photo and describe when it happened. The initial diagnostic/service visit starts at $149 and includes up to one hour of initial testing; maintenance parts and labor are estimated for the exact vehicle.
Questions about this appointment
Is a tune-up a complete solution for any rough-running engine?
No. The cause may be outside routine ignition maintenance and should be diagnosed first.
Does the $349 starting price fit every four-cylinder?
No. It covers only select vehicles with standard-access plugs and standard filters.
