When a work vehicle stops, the entire schedule feels it.
A service van parked with a dead battery is more than an inconvenient repair. It may mean a missed appointment, an idle employee, or a delivery that needs to be reassigned. A small business cannot always spare a driver to drop a vehicle at a shop, find a ride back, and return to collect it later. That is where a properly planned mobile maintenance visit can help.
HYE TECH Mobile Mechanic provides on-site maintenance and eligible mechanical repairs for businesses operating passenger cars, pickups, and light-duty work vans. We come to an accessible, authorized service location, confirm which work can be done safely on-site, and provide an estimate before repair authorization. We focus on the vehicles that keep your team moving, not on selling a one-size-fits-all fleet contract.
Practical work for the vehicles your business relies on
Oil & scheduled maintenance
Vehicle-specific oil and filter changes, accessible filters, belts, and routine service items. We review the make, engine, mileage, and manufacturer requirements before quoting—not every van takes the same oil, filter, or amount.
Brakes & suspension repairs
Brake inspections and eligible pad, rotor, strut, shock, and suspension-component replacements. Work must be compatible with the location, vehicle weight, access, and required equipment.
Batteries, starters & alternators
Testing and replacement for confirmed starting and charging-system problems on suitable vehicles. We do not treat a warning light or trouble code alone as proof a part should be replaced.
Cooling systems & breakdown prevention
Eligible radiators, hoses, thermostats, drive belts, and cooling-system repairs. Tell us about any overheating or active leak before scheduling so we can determine whether diagnosis or repair is the correct first visit.
Targeted mechanical repairs
Many ignition, mount, sensor, fuel-system, and other component repairs are possible at a workplace. Complex electrical tracing, proprietary programming, lift-dependent repairs, and work requiring a shop are evaluated separately.
Vehicle-by-vehicle condition checks
When requested, we can review accessible wear items, visible leaks, belts, fluid concerns, and battery condition alongside a suitable maintenance visit. This is not a certified DOT inspection or a promise that every failure can be predicted.
How a fleet appointment works
- Send a simple vehicle list. Include year, make, model, approximate mileage, the issue or service due, and the location where the vehicles can be accessed. Let us know which vehicles are needed earliest.
- Agree on the scope before dispatch. We confirm which work is mobile-suitable, technician availability, required parts, estimates, and authorization. Diagnostic visits follow our published diagnostic policy; fleet maintenance and multiple-vehicle work are individually quoted.
- Coordinate service around operations. Where scheduling permits, vehicles at the same authorized location can be serviced in a coordinated visit. Work performed and any further recommendations can be reviewed before the vehicles return to use.
We do not claim guaranteed response windows, standing fleet contracts, fleet discounts, towing, tire service, or heavy-commercial work unless a specific arrangement has been discussed and accepted.
For the smaller local businesses that keep Burbank working
Our focus is the modest fleet: a contractor's work van, a handful of company pickups, a delivery car, or several light-duty vehicles returning to the same business address. The key question is not whether you have a hundred vehicles. It is whether you need the vehicles you already have back in service.
To illustrate the local work-vehicle economy, consider independent businesses such as Cal Climate Corp and North Air (HVAC), Zenon Plumbing & Restoration and DropStars Plumbing (field service), Magnolia Village Flowers (local floral delivery), and LA Messenger (courier work in nearby Sherman Oaks). Those are real independent-area businesses whose public services reflect the kinds of transportation-dependent work we have in mind. They are examples only—not customers, fleet accounts, endorsements, or partners of HYE TECH. We make no claim about their vehicle counts or maintenance providers.
Businesses such as electricians, HVAC contractors, plumbers, cleaning crews, home-service companies, small delivery operators, and independent repair or installation teams can contact us to discuss eligible vehicles. We assess fleet size, vehicle type, and location individually rather than publishing a fictional fleet rate.
What to prepare before your first fleet visit
The most useful fleet request is specific. A photo of each VIN label or registration, the current mileage, the last known service date, and a short description of the problem can prevent wasted parts orders and unnecessary return trips. If a van is scheduled for customer calls all morning, identify the window when it will actually be available. If several vehicles share one lot, tell us whether the property owner permits mechanical service there.
Our dispatch process remains straightforward: confirm suitability and availability, provide the appropriate estimate and authorization, arrange any required advance diagnostic payment, then schedule the appointment. We do not begin additional billable work without approval. Diagnostic service starts at $149 for the visit and up to the first hour of initial testing under the normal policy; routine fleet work is quoted separately based on the actual vehicles and requested service.
Fleet maintenance questions
Do we need a large fleet or a contract?
No minimum fleet size or long-term contract is advertised. Tell us how many compatible vehicles you need serviced; we will review the scope and appointment options individually.
Can you work on several vehicles in one visit?
Sometimes. Several vehicles at one accessible business location may be scheduled together when technician time, parts, and vehicle needs allow. Scheduling and pricing are confirmed in advance.
Do you repair commercial trucks or provide DOT inspections?
We focus on cars, pickups, and light-duty work vans. Larger or specialized vehicles are accepted only after we confirm the exact vehicle and job. We do not advertise certified DOT inspections, towing, or tire service.
How much does fleet service cost?
There is no universal per-vehicle or fleet-contract price. Maintenance and repair estimates depend on the vehicle and work requested. If diagnosis is needed, our standard mobile diagnostic visit starts at $149 and covers up to the first hour of initial testing; additional work requires approval.
Can we schedule work at our business parking lot?
Yes, when the location is accessible, the responsible property party permits the work, and there is adequate space to perform the proposed repair safely and legally. Some jobs need shop equipment and cannot be done mobile.
Keep the vehicles earning their place in your business.
Send us the vehicle details, number of vehicles, proposed service location, and the maintenance or repair each one needs. We will review a practical next step before dispatch.
