Start with the failure pattern
Rapid clicking, a single click, dim dashboard lights and a slow crank do not all point to the same fault. Battery condition and terminal security should be checked alongside charging performance where the vehicle allows. A boost that gets the engine running proves only that additional power helped; it does not prove the battery is the cause.
Tell us whether the car sat unused, needed repeated jumps, or went flat after recent electrical work. Mention any warning lights, hot electrical smell or visible corrosion. Stop repeated starting attempts if wiring becomes hot or you see smoke.
Verify battery type and installation needs
Vehicles use different group sizes, terminal layouts, chemistries and minimum ratings. Some newer models require battery registration or a monitoring-system reset after replacement. Please provide year, make, model, engine and a clear photo of the existing battery label so fitment and availability can be checked before a visit.
A weak alternator or key-off electrical draw can discharge a new battery too. If testing points to charging or parasitic-draw diagnosis, we explain that separately rather than assuming a replacement will solve the repeat failure.
