Report slow cranking, rapid clicks, one click or no response, and whether the dash dims. Tell us how long the vehicle sat and whether a jump helped only briefly. A jump proves outside power helped; it does not prove the battery is the root cause.
If a cable is hot, smoke appears or there is an electrical burning smell, stop attempts. Corroded terminals, a worn starter, low charging output or a key-off draw can cause repeat no-starts.
Match battery type to the vehicle
Group size, terminal layout, capacity and chemistry depend on engine and trim. Some vehicles also need battery registration or a battery-monitor reset. Send year, make, model and a readable photo of the installed label so fitment can be checked before dispatch.
After installation, secure connections and starting behavior should be verified. If testing points to a charging or current-draw problem, a new battery alone may not solve the discharge; we explain the findings before quoting additional work.
