Do not assume a low refrigerant charge without testing. The system is sealed; a loss of refrigerant can signal a leak. Unverified top-offs and sealant products can mask evidence or complicate proper repair.
Evaluate system limits and work location
A mobile assessment may check vent temperature, accessible components, controls and system pressures using equipment appropriate to the refrigerant. Some vehicles need leak detection, refrigerant recovery or repairs that require shop equipment. An initial visit can identify the fault and whether the full repair fits a mobile setting.
A level space with room to open the hood is important, particularly if the engine needs to run during testing. In Shadow Hills, include gate access and driveway slope; an incline may restrict safe work even when the diagnosis itself is simple.
Vehicle details make the appointment more useful
Provide the year, make, model, engine, when cooling changes, and whether all vents behave alike. If the A/C was recently serviced, include what was done and whether refrigerant was added. This helps distinguish an airflow complaint, control issue or refrigerant concern.
